Hi, I’m Megan! I am incredibly passionate about supporting mamas in strengthening the connection to their deepest selves.

I’ve worked with more than 50 mothers.

I’ve helped them connect to their own Intuition, and have honestly found such deep fulfillment in this work. My journey to get here, however, has been a winding one filled with bumps, bruises and battles.

Have you ever been really good at something that didn’t feel aligned? Yep, that was me.

I earned a BA in Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations from San Diego State. I landed an entry-level job at one of the world’s top Public Relations and Marketing agencies and climbed my way up the corporate ladder to Director of Marketing. The job was enjoyable at first - I was good at it, and it allowed me to travel, meet interesting people and, of course, support myself. But as the years went on, bit by bit, I came to deeply dislike and resent going to work each day. I dreamed of doing something completely different outside the 9-5 corporate hustle. But as with everything in life, this job was here to teach me a lesson. I learned I had been placing work at my center. It was a measure of my personal worth, my identity as a person.

I knew it was time to walk away when I began feeling anxious and depressed, often crying on Sunday nights, filled with dread heading into the week. With the full support of my husband, I decided to step away from all I had known the last eight-plus years and take time for some deeper inner discovery. I ended up taking an eight month break from work to reevaluate who I was at my core. This self-discovery journey revealed so much to me.

As a part of this inner journey, I decided to reach out to friends to ask them what they considered my strengths to be. A resounding message I received from them was my ability to listen and help people work through their struggles to find the “truth” and encourage them to take action on that knowledge. This made a lot of sense to me; I had always wanted to support others in some way, but at that time I didn’t know where to flow to next.

Becoming a mother presented a whole new challenge.

In 2017 my son was born and I became a first-time mom. I had a beautiful pregnancy and an amazing birth, but the days, weeks and months following his birth were some of the most difficult days of my life. I dropped off an emotional cliff and I stayed there for a year and a half. Every anxiety I’d ever had was now on the outside.

During this time I saw a therapist, I tried yoga, I joined mom groups, I got my hair done, I did RTT therapy, reiki, etc. And while all of these different things chipped away at it a bit, the thing that really helped was when I started to connect with the deepest part of me regularly - my Intuition.

My Intuition gave me guidance that led me away from activities where the main goal was to “fix” something, and led me toward opportunities to feel all those tough feelings and just BE.

One of the things it led me to do was spend a morning each weekend to do what felt aligning. At first, this time to myself felt incredibly intimidating - I didn’t know what to do with it! What activity was worthy of this little corner of life where I could choose to do anything I wanted?!

I started to go to the coffee shop down the street to read and journal. That coffee shop helped me begin to heal by giving me dedicated time with myself - time to acknowledge the shifts, the struggles, the beauty of it all. I’ve often wondered if the people who worked there thought I was crazy! There was more than one occasion where I sat on a stool by the window bawling as quietly as I could manage while I had one huge realization after another.

Saying YES to My Inner Voice.

Much of the work I did at the coffee shop I had learned from Jess Lively, someone whose journey I had been following since college. When Jess introduced Inner Voice (Intuition) work on her podcast, The Lively Show, I had started to do it myself. And in this chapter where I was really struggling, I began to take all the things I had learned, read and heard, and channel it into my everyday. I began to sit with my anxiety and feel it in body instead of running away from it or being buried by it in the mind. The light began to permeate my perpetual darkness and, day by day, I was able to breathe a bit more.

Because Intuition work was so powerful in my own life, I began introducing it to my friends and family and holding space for them to explore, too. So when I saw Jess was offering the Inner Voice Facilitator Training beta program in early 2020, I signed up with no questions asked. Every fiber of my being said YES. Starting in April of that year, I trained intimately with Jess and became a certified Inner Voice Facilitator. I also went on to became a Squad Leader to help mentor others who were going through the Inner Voice Facilitator Training process after me. This was a life changing and powerful experience.

The universe showed me that mothers really needed support.

Early in my training as a facilitator, I had this idea that I wanted to keep my identity as “mother” out of my work. I wanted some part of my life that was just mine. Can you relate? But, after I completed my certification in the early days of the pandemic, it was easy to see how parents, especially moms, were really struggling - and I felt unequivocally drawn to support them. I wanted to help those mothers find what I had found - calm and peaceful knowing in the face of anxiety and fear.

In the fall of 2020, I offered free Intuition sessions to mothers, holding space and helping them to move through what often felt like impossible circumstances brought on by the pandemic. The Universe had spoken and I knew that, in this chapter of my life, I was meant to support mamas.

To date, I’ve worked with more than 50 mothers, helping them connect to their own Intuition and have found such deep fulfillment in this work.

More about Me

There are four core principles to my process:

C O N N E C T I O N: How often, if at all, do you feel connected to a deep, calm and loving place within yourself? This is your true being. Much of the work we will do together will be uncovering and helping to reintroduce you to your deepest self and the knowing voice that is always with you, no matter what - your Intuition.

C O M P A S S I O N: Visiting this place within ourselves can cause accusations and guilt to surface - the “I should have’s” and “what if’s,” and often a question of whether this peace is “deserved”. It can also reveal past hurts and pain that have been living inside. Offering compassion to ourselves can be one of the toughest parts of this journey - and it’s incredibly important. We will focus on feeling all our emotions and sensations from a place of loving acceptance and releasing stored emotional energy that is no longer serving us.

C U R I O S I T Y: You’ve connected with your Intuition and you’ve found compassion for yourself - now it’s time to find the wonder! Approaching your life from a place of curiosity, while letting go of control, is such a powerful thing. Rediscover your passion (or start to find it for the first time). Find ways to fill your cup. Flow with the everyday wonder that is this life.

C O M M U N I T Y: The power of community cannot be overstated. You will reflect on your current community and reach out to the people who care for you. You will explore the areas of your life in which you could use more support. After working with me, you will also have access to a community of moms on this incredible journey with you.

“Being a mom can be so stressful when you question what your kids need and wonder whether you're doing the right things for them. But Megan brought out the answers I needed to hear.”
